Urban Latin Music Conference & After Party 2009

The Urban Latin Music Conference 2009 (ULMC) is a 1-day industry event (3-days of showcases), taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the Hilton Miami Downtown in Florida (Design District)  ULMC brings together the brightest minds and biggest talents in the Urban Latin music genre, and it is the first Urban Latin music conference of its kind. 

Urban Latin music, in all its variations, has become one of the most popular and prominent genres worldwide over the past several years. In addition to the explosion of Reggaeton, Urban Latin music artists have crossed over into the mainstream music arena with contributions to rock and hip-hop, and many have established themselves as businessmen in the music industry overall.

This platform will add consistency and stability; it will allow the producers, artists, manufactures, media etc. to have a one on one approach to the most recent activities, productions, vital information and numbers, as well as to meet and network with the top artists and executives who are influencing the lucrative Latin music business.  The Urban Latin Music Conference will function as the main and most reliable vehicle to obtain and provide information, while at the same time allowing the attendees to brand their band or name, create positive PR and interact face-to-face with a powerful audience.  In addition to live music performances, the conference features several panels of interest to independent and emerging Urban Latin artists and music moguls. These industry experts will be discussing topics such as how to get a recording deal, radio/TV exposure and marketing tools.  The various panels will cover valuable and necessary topics for those in the industry who desire for their future or present careers to reach higher levels. 

The first annual Urban Latin Music Conference is expecting to gather about 2,500 (3-days) music executives, artists, composers, sponsors and press.  It will feature one full day of programming, showcases, educational sessions and networking receptions.
